A bit of a departure for me (obviously), but I had a recent shoot that required something that would help me turn a dark and oppressive dungeon (literally) into something hopefully, shiny and glamorous. I’ve always coveted the ring light effect but since it is such a specialty piece of gear, I’ve never really had a need for it.
It is a great piece of gear, powerful, and the quality of the light is outstanding. It can be a gorgeous light source and makes anything shiny or colorful seem like candy.
This shoot was performed with a Nikon D800, 35-70mm Nikkor and the Quantum OM3 Ring Light.
