Kraków | Marta & Greta

I had the pleasure of meeting Marta and her family in the Podgórze neighborhood of Kraków, spending a bit of time and taking photos.

I learned the story of Greta, the Great Dane in the photos. On Marta’s wedding day, her sister gave her the Great Dane pup as a gift. In those six years since, Greta had not been away from Marta, not for a single day, until Marta gave birth to her first child.

Gone for three days at the hospital, when Marta returned, she found Greta in her absence, had added grey to her muzzle.
