When you shoot on the streets in some strange new place, you wander and explore and sometimes, there is nothing, there is shit, just empty streets and forlorn warehouses, the occasional territorial dog.
Then sometimes, you wander across the threshold of a home, a family hanging out in the shade, people living their lives, and then you are able to jump in and for a few moments, you are able to spend time with them, get a taste of their days, try on their routines for a moment, share a few laughs, some tea, a beer.
And then you move on and see what is around the next corner.
